Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that starts slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel like you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops.

As with the popular amusement ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem to be going well for a while before it bottoms out one more time. You definitely have to be a player who is able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game given that the game of blackjack is packed full of them.
If you like the little coaster, one that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a much bigger wager, then hop on board for the crazy ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-stakes gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not thinking about the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few bettors adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is a lovely feeling, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to toss and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you may not necessarily recall how much you enjoyed the view while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a cool ride and your head in the stratosphere. As you are recounting "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will clearly recall that mortifying drop as clear as day.
