I have enjoyed millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over this time period I have played a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 bet
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
