I have wagered on countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of funds at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this method! And a few weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Bet 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
